Group Pilates Classes 

All larger group Pilates classes are held at Avendale Church on Kirk Street, Strathaven. 

Parking is available behind the church on Station Road in a small car park through the church gates. Alternatively you can park on Station Road or in the long stay car park also on Station road. 

For your class you will need loose comfortable clothes. Layers are useful. For mat classes you will need a yoga mat although I have many spare and a drink. 

Prior to attending you will be sent a health questionnaire to complete. 

Classes are £10 to drop in or you can buy a 6 class pass for £48 which you can use over a 12 week period. 

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy in place,

where you will either be refunded or given

a class pass back.

Class days and times 

1

Mondays 6pm and 7.30pm

This is a mixed ability Pilates class suitable for male and female clients.  

✔You will learn how to practice Pilates correctly & confidently so you really get the benefits from it.

 

✔The exercises will help you improve your posture and release your stiffness

 

 ✔You will feel more bendy and flexible

 

 ✔You will start to feel stronger and more connected to your own body

 

 ✔You will feel great and stretched after the class

 

 ✔And it’s okay to ask questions - sit & watch - and even have a rest if you feel you need one! It’s okay!

 

✔️Help to ease those aches and pains

Tuesdays 10.30am 

Easy Movers is a functional strength and mobility class designed to improve functional fitness of adults. 

We will use Pilates and adapt the exercises to be seated and standing. So no mat work will be involved in this class. 

 

Benefits include; 

✔️Teaches correct body alignment in functional positions

✔️Promotes the well being of the pelvic floor

✔️Includes full body exercises 

✔️Improves bone strength because of the exercise weights bearing exercise 

✔️Improves balance 

✔️Easier to do if getting off the floor is difficult
